India is a diverse country but it is unfortunate that most people fail to understand or recognize the diversity of this country. Each state has its unique beauty in terms of physical features, culture, social life, religion, languages, geographical features, etc. Instead of celebrating and being proud of this diversity most of the people have the mindset of being superior. They cannot think beyond Hindi and Hindu religion. My recent visit to our beautiful Kashmir valley reiterate my stand and struggle to stop racism. I call on my fellow citizens of this great country to respect each other inspite of the diverse background we come from. “The beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people”.
